Stable Connections is a 4-week evening program designed for teens who want to build confidence, strengthen their voice, and connect with peers in a real, grounded space.
Through riding and hands-on experiences with horses, you'll discover how your communication, presence, and energy shape your relationships—with animals and with people. No experience needed. No performance required.
Just four Tuesday evenings, a small group of teens who get it, and horses who'll teach you something true about yourself.

How it Unfolds
Week 1: Welcome to the Herd Build trust and group bonding. Meet the horses, learn what safety looks and feels like, and start to relax.
Week 2: Confidence Through Communication Discover how your body language and tone shape how others respond to you—especially horses. Practice showing up authentically.
Week 3: Healthy Boundaries & Personal Space Learn to recognize, set, and respect boundaries. With horses and with people. This changes everything.
Week 4: Celebration & Future Goals Reflect on what you've learned, celebrate your progress, and set one goal to carry forward beyond the program.
Program Details
Ages:12–17
Duration: 4 weeks (4 sessions)
When: Tuesdays, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Group Size: Limited to 6–8 teens per group
What to bring:

Pricing
$300 for the full 4-week program
Arrival Note:
Gates open at 5.15 pm, 15 minutes before our 5.30pm start time. The ranch gates remain closed until then and parking is not available before 5.15 pm.
If you arrive early, you’re welcome to enjoy a coffee in Valley Springs or wait at the Burson Market just a few minutes away — they have lovely drinks and snacks.
A Few Helpful Things to Know

No. This program is designed for teens with zero experience. The horses will meet you where you are.

No. Stable Connections is a social-emotional learning program, not clinical therapy. It's facilitated by trained equine-assisted professionals and is focused on confidence, communication, and connection.

Riding is part of this program — it's how you'll build real horse skills and confidence in your body. Helmets are required and all riding is supervised by trained instructors. If you have specific concerns, reach out and we can talk through it.

That's okay. Many teens start nervous and leave wondering why they ever were. We move at your pace. Safety—emotional and physical—comes first.

We run Stable Connections as a 4-week commitment. The real benefits come from showing up consistently — if you miss a session, that's on you, but we're counting on you to be there.
