Low key (only 100 tickets) and all proceeds go to the care of our four-legged therapists that call Cowgirl Up Ranch home..
We're gathering the LGBTQ+ community for music, dancing, line dancing, hotdogs, hamburgers, beer, wine, and a whole lot of laid back country fun.

Explore the Ranch
Cowgirl Up Ranch is a working ranch in Burson, California — home to horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, and open skies.
This is where Sparkles & Spurs happens. Gravel paths, paddocks, barn spaces, and wide pasture views shape the setting. The land itself is part of the celebration.
Evenings here bring remarkably clear skies. With minimal light pollution, stargazing can be extraordinary — you'll want to bring a moment to look up after the sun sets over Lake Camanche. If you're into it, bring binoculars or a small telescope.
You may also spot hawks or even an eagle during the day — the ranch is alive with quiet wildlife moments.

What to Bring & What to Know
We're out on the ranch in the foothills — here's what that means:
BRING:
🔸 A valid ID (required for alcohol service)
🔸 Cash for the bar and food (smaller bills welcome)
🔸 Water bottle — we'll have water available too
🔸 Layers — evenings get chilly in the foothills
🔸 Comfortable shoes or boots (the ground is uneven in places)
🔸 Your best self and an open heart 🌈❤️
KNOW:
🔸We love dogs, but for the safety of our many critters, we cannot allow guest dogs on the ranch.
🔸 You'll be dancing under the stars on a ranch — there's dust and uneven surfaces. Wear shoes that work for you.
🔸 The sky out here is incredible. Bring a moment to look up and stargaze once the sun goes down over Lake Camanche. It's stunning.
🔸 Layers are your friend. It can be warm during the day, but cool once the sun sets.
Arrival Note:
Gates open at 4:45 PM — 15 minutes before our 5:00 PM start time.
The ranch gates remain closed until then, and parking is not available before 4:45 PM. Please don't arrive early and block our single lane road up to the ranch — our neighbors appreciate it.
If you arrive early, you're welcome to enjoy a coffee in Valley Springs or wait at the Burson Market just a few minutes away. They have lovely drinks and snacks.

Perfect. Mostly, we don’t either. But we’ll have an expert helping us out, and there's plenty of open dancing too. Come ready to learn and have fun.

Yes. We'll have snacks, hotdogs and hamburgers for sale. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks are available. (Valid ID required for alcohol.)
Bring cash — smaller bills are helpful. -
Its rural so there will be outhouses.

You’re encouraged to wear your best western outfit — but "best" is whatever makes you feel good. Boots, hats, fringe, sequins, flannel, whatever. This is about celebrating yourself.
