About the Event
Stress is a major factor in our lives, but it doesn't have to own you. This 4 hour workshop will help you understand your stressors, discover how to manage them effectively, and develop skills to ease your anxious responses. Working with counselor Marybeth Wiefels and her team of four-legged therapists, you will learn strategies to cope with your reactions to stressors and manage anxiety. This guided group workshop combines workbook and discussion with equine-assisted activities that promote learning through doing. The horses and other animals are part of the experiential process and are not ridden. No experience with horses is needed. Just allow them to be their beautiful selves as they act as mirrors and guides with their innate wisdom.
